Description: Although the shuriken is designed to be thrown for ranged combat, grasping the full use of this weapon can be tricky. With practice a user can become more precise in hitting a specified target area, or can even increase his dexterity to handle multiple shurikens at the same time. By using a small amount of chakra, a user of this technique can guide a single or multiple shurikens with a burst of energy expelled as the weapons leave the user's hand to create a boost which contains enough force to direct the shuriken in a desired path or curve its trajectory in an arc to catch an opponent off-guard. The Shuriken Throwing Technique is taught to all students at the Ninja Academy.

Description: Kunai are one of the hardest ranged weapons to use during battle because their bulk and lanky shape is easy to throw out of balance. Through repeated training a user can effectively learn to throw a kunai knife so that it will always pierce its mark with the pointed end. Additionally the user can curve the weapons' path of trajectory, useful in catching an opponent off-guard, by releasing a small burst of chakra through the palm of his hand right before releasing the weapon into the air. The chakra also aids the kunai's straight line path by preventing it from wobbling while slicing through the air. The Kunai Throwing Technique is taught to all students at the Ninja Academy.
